What am I doing right now?
I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech, and a hell of an Engineer!
I'll be spending most of my free time this May working on this website, blogging about my recent projects [Grails ClickToDial, TravelUp, Converged Catalog, Callendar, Android Gesture Recognition, WhereAmI v2] and learn more Groovy/Grails.
About me
I've graduated with a Master of Science - Computer Science from the College of Computing, Georgia Tech, Atlanta. Here I also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at GT-RNOC IMS Lab. My research interests include the development of converged applications for web and mobile platforms. Originally from Mumbai (India), I completed my Bachelors in Information Technology degree from Sardar Patel College of Engineering (Mumbai University) and gained experience developing web applications at Atos Origin India for Renault Automobiles. A self-proclaimed geek, I spend most of my time dabbling with the latest in the web technology landscape with a greater focus on Java technologies.
Something more recent...

I participated in the Yahoo HackU 2009 Developer Competition at Georgia Tech and won the "Best User Experience and Design" category for our application, caLLendar.
During the Summer of 2008 while interning at Morgan Stanley NYC, I won the NYC .NET Developers Group 'Speaker Idol' for my presentation on ".NET/Java interop". This earned me recognition in the MSDN Flash Newsletter [Volume 12, Number 16]. Read more about it here and here!
